About
When Miss Hammond left school, she embarked on a 3-year course for performing arts at Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre. After graduating Suzanne then followed her lifelong dream of travelling the world performing. She worked throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Asia and the Far East, performing in theatres and on TV. When she retired it was to pursue a career in teaching.
On her return to the UK, she taught in many local schools in and around the northwest area, continually studying and gaining further qualifications in both dance and drama. Having gathered knowledge from many teachers who have influenced her over the years, she eventually opened her own school in Merseyside in 1999, teaching 8 of the ISTD genres. Miss Hammond is also qualified in LAMDA & Guildhall and is very honoured to hold the prestigious Gold Medal for public speaking from The Poetry Society.
